AKI-Karaoke Jukebox for Mac OS X

This is an MP3 player which eliminate the sound from center position. In many musics, vocal sound tends to come from center, the software effectively eliminate the vocal causing the sound to karaoke.

How to Use this software

Just double-click an icon labeled 'AKI-KaraokeJukebox.jar', drag & drop the MP3 file to the blue area labeled "DROP MP3 FILE HERE", and click 'START'. You can drag & drop other songs even when the player is playing songs.

System Requirements:

This software should run on Mac OS X 10.3.x later.

How to Install

Note:
This software uses JLayer to decode MP3 encoded file. So, if you don't have it, please install it by following the instructions below.

  1. Download JLayer 1.0
    1. Go to http://www.javazoom.net/javalayer/javalayer.html
    2. Click link labeled 'download'.
    3. Click link labeled 'zip' for 'JLayer 1.0', and select the download server.
  2. Expand the downloaded file.
    1. If your Safari browser is set to 'Open "safe" files after downloading', Safari automatically expand the downloaded archive file, otherwise just double-click the file, then the folder named 'JLayer1.0' will appear.
    2. Double-click 'JLayer1.0' folder and make sure that there is a file named 'jl1.0.jar'.
  3. Move jl1.0.jar to Java external library directory
    1. Open another Finder window, click 'Go' menu and select 'Go to Folder...'.
    2. Enter '/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/CurrentJDK/Home/lib/ext' as folder path.
    3. Drag & drop the file named 'jl1.0.jar' (which is located in 'JLayer1.0' folder expanded in step 2 - 'Expand the downloaded file') to the folder window ('/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/CurrentJDK/Home/lib/ext').
    4. Click 'Authenticate' and enter the administrator's password.
