Basic Steps of Scanning


This section presents the basic steps for scanning images after you have installed the scanner successfully (See Quick Guide). See    Chapter III of   "MiraPhoto" for more detailed information on each MiraPhoto's feature  and function

Step1. Open the image-editing software.
Step2. Choose the "Acquire" from the "File" menu( If it is your first time to use the scanner, please remember to choose the MiraPhoto driver from the "Select Source" item). The MiraPhoto window will pop up.
Step3. Place the film into the film holder and insert the holder into the scanner.
Step4. Click "Preview" button at the bottom of MiraPhoto window.
If the "Automatic Preview" feature is turned on, MiraPhoto will preview the image automatically .
Step5. (Optional) If necessary, change the image type and other features by these pop-up menu and tools on the front panel.
Step6. (Optional) Set the scanning area  that you really want to scan:
Move the mouse cursor to the upper left corner of the area you want to scan and drag the mouse diagonally to the low right corner of the area until the scanning area is included in the rectangle.Moreover,only this area will be scanned. You can adjust the scanning area by changing and  moving the rectangle .
Step7. Click the "Scan" button to aquire the image.
Step8. Repeat Step 3 to Step 7 if you want to scan another image.
Step9. Close the MiraPhoto window and come back to the image editing software.
