It comprises of a FileServer (fileserver) that can handle raw file upload and download functionality for Seahub, the Seafile server (seaf-server), which is a simple data service daemon, and Ccnet server (ccnet-server), which acts as a networking service daemon.
Supported operating systems and platforms
Seafile Server is a multi-platform application, available on the GNU/Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Microsoft Windows operating systems, as well as on the Raspberry Pi computer board. Both 32-bit and 64-bit hardware architectures are supported at this time.
Under the hood and availability
The server component of Seafile is available for download as pre-built binary packages for both 32-bit and 64-bit hardware platforms. It has been tested and it’s officially supported on the Debian 6, Ubuntu 12.04, Ubuntu 14.04, CentOS 5.8, CentOS 6.0+, Microsoft Windows and Raspberry Pi systems. It is written entirely in the UNIX Shell programming language.
