BlackCat CMS is a content management system that was forked from the LEPTON CMS 2.x branch, which in turn is a fork of Website Baker.

The CMS can be used with any type of website design, features a modern codebase, an intuitive administration interface, is easily expandable via add-ons, and very easy to use by technical and non-technical users alike.

BlackCat also comes with a very complete and capable installation wizard to help developers setup the CMS, and once everything put into order, a password-protected admin panel to manage the actual website.

Here users can customize their site either by tweaking the frontend themes, editing the pages' content, or by adding new add-ons with new functionality.

Adding and editing new pages is done with the help of a WYSIWYG editor, and for each page, lots of options can easily be tweaked and played around with.
